HOARDING CONNECTION strategic plan
In spring of 2018, the Hoarding Connection of Cuyahoga County agreed to undertake the development of a strategic plan. The task force sought to reevaluate the Hoarding Connection’s mission and identify feasible and meaningful strategies for the period ahead. A strategic planning committee was formed and was tasked with completing the research and analysis of stakeholder perceptions, current literature, social and policy impacts, and other information to create a useful and actionabe plan for the period 2019 through 2022;
Mission
Educate professionals, organizations and the larger community about hoarding disorder and promote the adoption of effective responses for persons who hoard.
Strategic Goals 2019-2022
- Develop a sustainability plan
- Maintain and enhance education and awareness activities
- Deliver selected services to encourage broader community implementation of effective treatments
- Engage additional organizations to expand the Hoarding Connections’ capacity to address systemic issues
- Promote informed engagement with public policies related to hoarding issues
